Gardening Day @Thuis

We invite you to roll up your sleeves and join us for the very first gardening event at the new Secret Garden behind Thuis, Sunday 24^th of September, from 12h00 onwards. This day is the national “Burendag” day, sponsored by OranjeFonds, on which they support many community projects.

This gardening session is the start of our first, long-term collaboration with Thuis. From this, we hope many more events will sprout, all centered around the goal to gradually turn the hidden garden in the
backyard of Thuis into a little permaculture-inspired paradise.

What will we do on the 24^th?

Construct a wooden pergola for grape vines to grow onto
Relocate certain bushes and plants
Plant some herbs
Present and discuss the garden design

The same day, from 15:00-17:00, Thuis will organize a Plant
Party, to swap seedlings, cuttings and (indoor) plants.
