“100 years of WUR sparked 100 years of activism”

How have critical voices influenced the policies of the university? Which similarities and differences can be found in what activists are protesting against now and then?

During this kickoff open "fishbowl" debate session, students, employees and academic activists from different times can share their visions and critiques on our university.

A 'fishbowl conversation' is a method to stimulate a dynamic and self-managed dialogue. A set- up of 4 to 6 six chairs in a circle is the stage for a roulating conversation. People can take seat in a chair to contribute to the conversation and are expected to leave when they made their point.

This type of dialogue is often used to discuss topics with big groups and sometimes also in participatory events like 'unconferences'.
