On March 27th we have drawn examples from the practice to see how we can govern land as a commons, exploring what possibilities and complexities arise. First we scaled down and explored local initiatives that work towards create common used heath farms and pastures, where Martin Woestenburg from the Heideboerderij Foundation showed us the ins-and outs about this new type of farming.

Second, Henry Mentink (Ecovillage Network NL) talked about sharing the whole world as a common. What does this mean for our attitude towards the planet? He talked about an economy based on trust and love, envisioning a future in which we are more in harmony with ourselves and each other. Henry inpsired us by his positivity and his ability to set giant goals and thinking big, followed-up by taking one step at a time to get there.
