Public Speaking program Wageningen very successful!
OtherWise partnered up with the United Netherlands to bring the Public Speaking Program to Wageningen! The United Netherlands Public Speaking Program offers you the possibility to develop your public speaking skills and pratice different styles of speech.
Whether you hold a speech, give a presentation or do an elevator-pitch: public speaking skills are of great importance if you want your message to reach your audience in the right way. In the Public speaking program United Netherlands trained us in all aspects of public speaking: body language, use of voice, structuring your speech, framing, debate and much more! Even more important: during the sessions we practiced our own public speaking skills in front of each other.
The Public Speaking Program consisted of 5 evening sessions in November and December during which the trainer Eef van der Berg trained a group of 12 Wageningen students. All students successfully finished the program. One of the participants let us know: I loved the program! In the program I gained more knowledge and skills in public speaking. Afterwards it was horrible to watch the Christmas speech of King Willem-Alexander. Watch your hand gestures!
