Ecovillages: Beyond stereotypes - Introducing Ecocommunities
Inspired by many questions and driven by an urge to contribute to a better world, we aim to organize a series of events around the theme of ‘eco-communities’. During these events we want to explore the world of eco-communities. The aim is to find out more about the potential of such communities to experiment with social innovations and resilience practices.
This will be the first of six events in which Otherwise will be exploring the theme of
Eco-communities in relation to social innovation and environmental resilience. The event will take place in THUIS, Stationsstraat 32 Wageningen
This event is to make a case for looking at Eco-communities from a perspective of environmental resilience and social innovation. We will deal with questions such as 'What do we mean with ecovillages/communities?
' 'How widespread is the phenomenon of eco-communities and where do we find them?
''What is the current state of research on eco-communities from the perspective that we take?'
This will be the second of six events in which Otherwise will be exploring the theme of Eco-communities in relation to social innovation and environmental resilience.
The event will take place in THUIS, Stationsstraat 32 Wageningen and will take place in English!
